What this install covers
What's Included
- · Positioning and levelling the new unit in place
- · Connecting the water line to the refrigerator and securing all fittings
- · Turning the water supply back on and checking every connection for leaks
- · Connecting to your existing electrical outlet
- · Confirming the ice maker and/or water dispenser are working before we leave
- · Tidying the work area and setting packaging aside for you
What's Not Included
- · Running a new water line — see our New Water Line Connection service if one isn't already in place
- · Replacing a shut-off valve that's seized, damaged, or missing
- · Electrical upgrades or new wiring
Worth Knowing
If it's been a while since the shut-off valve behind your fridge was last used, it's worth testing that it turns and fully shuts off before we arrive. A valve that's seized won't let us safely complete the connection that visit, and it can mean a return trip.
Sizing & Fit
We don't send anyone to inspect your home ahead of installation — pre-inspection isn't a service we offer for confirming sizing or fit. Confirming that the new appliance fits your existing opening is entirely your sales consultant's responsibility, not ours. If the appliance doesn't fit when our installer arrives, a visit charge applies.
